Both Padrets chose appropriate and inspir- ing sermons which were much appreciated by the members present, The Parade to the Ceno- taph at the Recreation Centre was made much more colorful with the attendance of Mr. D. Lake our Terrace Bay Piper. With his High- land music the marching was made easier for those of us who don?t do too much of that sort of thing these days, Four Buglers, Com- rades W, Colborne, P, Rapke, L, Kimmerer and Mr, F, Gould led the hymn singing and W, Colborne blew "Last Post" and "Reveille" for the Salute to the Fallen. Rev, Anderson led in prayer and Comrade W, Baillie, President of Branch 223, gave a short address, telling us the purpose of Decoration Day. The Parade Marshall was Comrade Ron Slattery, and the Color Bearers were Comrades Jerry Coons and Frank Ginn, We would like at this to thank Comrade Jerry Coons for his help in organiz-- ing the day. On Saturday, June 9th the Ladies Auxiliary held a Father*s Day Box Social at the Armour- ies, Although the attendance left a lot to be desired, a good time was had by all those present and the men thank the Ladies for thei thoughtfulness and the lovely boxes of delicious food.
