Most of this is done by youngsters in their pre~- teens but, unbelievably, some is done by . teenagers (who derive the most benefit from the room) and some even by immature adults, Our attempts to control the situation by appealing to offenders to take a greater pride in their facilities, have proved . insufficient, so that sterner methods are now required, In future, anyone guilty of misbehaviour in the Games Room, or in the Recreation Centre in géneral, will be suspended for an extended period of time. If necessary, and if the matter is serious enough, even sterner methods will be used. Good users, who are greatly in the majority can further' assist to keep our facilities in good repair, by helping to control' mis-users. Perhaps by adopting these methods we can teach these irresponsible few youngsters that they should use care and thought while using the facilities,.... and these immature few adults that ash trays are for cigarette ashes and butts and wastebaskets for litter.
