Page 14 TERRACE BAY NEWS December 14, 1961 YOUTHS APPREHENDED IN PETERBOROUGH , Four youths, presently being held at Peter borough, Ontario by the Ontario Provincial Police for.a series. of break, enter and theft between Port Arthur and Peterborough during the week:'of December 2nd to December 6th, have been charged with the break, enter and theft of the Island View Surpice Sta ion in Terrace Bays : This break-an occurred during the night of December 3rd, at which time a window was broken-in the south wall of the building and netted the youths approximately $135 in car accessories. These stolen goods were dis- » covered on and about their vehicle when picked up by police at Peterborough on Dec. 6th. Charges have been forwarded to Peterbor- ough Police where the youths will stand trial |, on December 14th on this and four other | similar charges. A local resident forfeited bail of $18.50 on a charge of intoxication and one. Marathon resident forfeited bail of $22.50 on a careless driving charge. Another local resident was sentenced to three months imprisonment and his driver's license was suspended for two years when.he appeared in District Court, Port Arthur, on Wednesday, December 6th, on' a/charge.of im- '. paired driving, second offense, SCHREIBER CITIZENS AGAINST SUNDAY MOVIES Schreiber citizens gave an overwhelming "YES" in favour of Sunday Sports when the results showed 474 in favour and only 105 against.
