Mrs.Eva Connors was hostess last Wednesday evening in her home at a Kitchen Shower to honour Mrs.Roger Beaulieu, a recent bride from Kapuskasing. Fourteen ladies were pre- sent to greet Mrs.Beaulieu and she was showered with confetti as she sat in a decorated chair. Many lovely gifts were given and the hostess served a luncheon during the social evening. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE NAME DELEGATES Senior Regent Ann Todesco presided over the regular meeting of the Women of the Moose in Terrace Bay on-Wednesday, October 19th. -- There were twelve members present, Corres- pondence was read and various business dis- cussed. Delegates for the Northwestern Ontario Convention on the 28th, 29th and 30th of October in the Lakehead are co-workers Natalie Coates, Jackie Calder and Betty O'Neil, All co-workers are requested to bring an article for a Penny Auction at the next meeting. Also each are requested to bring magazines and children's books in good condition to this meeting which will be on November 2nd. This meeting is the Library Committee Chapter Night and special entertainment is planned. Everyone is urged to attend. SCOUT NEWS The: monthly meeting of the Boy Scout Group Committee met on October 18th. Miss C, Adamo, Secretary, Messrs. S,Erickson, J. Kelty and Rev. Ray Anderson were welcomed as new members of the Committee, Reports on the activities of the Packs and Troops were given by the Cub Leaders and Scout. Masters.
