Then the scouts enjoyed an interesting movie on the Holger-Nielson method of-artificial respiration. After j some test studying the boys were called into! @ horseshoe and the colour party of Dave Mercier, Dave Falzetta, and Fred Erickson | BLACK BEaR "BANTER" | t rt retreated the colours, ending a successful meeting. 0-0-0 Over the weekend, 10 boys and leader, "Jim Sweet, hiked to the Taylor Camp. We met at the Separate School grounds at 10 a.m,, - and were soon pulling our pack-laden tobogg- ans toward: the station and up the mill road. After securing snowshoes we hiked up-river 4 -the camp. Here we were assigned our bunk- rooms, The Feagle Patrol (Fox & Eagle) was made up of Randy Hutchinson, P.L.; Ron Downey, Second; Lee McKay and Ken Bradley. The Beabuff Patrol (Beaver and Buffalo) included Jim Hayes, P.L.; Bill Shivas,- second; Brian McInnes, Dave Mercier, ar Bruce Whitfield, After lunch, Bill Shivas and Jim Hayes hiked back down-river to pick up some supplies that had been dropped. After a visit by the Skip and his two sons, Jimny and Dave, who came up on snowshoes as well, we ate supper and played around the tug Kay Cee which is laid up on shore for the winter, Then we had a snack and bedded down for the night.
