Jim Hayes and Bruce Whitfield were first, and Ron Downey and Ken Bradley, second. We returned home and prepared the meal while Ron and Jim hiked back to find a forgotten axe, After eating lunch, cleaning the campsite, and playing around the tugs, we snowshocd home- ward, arriving at 4.30. SPECKLED TROUT HATCHED ..T DORION Is the day coming when mammoth speckled trout may be taken in Southern Ontario? Officials of the Department of Lands and Forests feel there's a chance. They collected 25,000-speckled trout eggs from the Sutton River, 60 miles south of Hudson's Bay, and hatched them out at the Dorion fish hatchery "They are all healthy and cating ravenously", reported Hatchery Manager Joe Atkinson.
