Every year the Scout Group Committee has to forward to National Head Quarters a regis- tration fee of two dollars for each boy in the local organization, Each boy is asked to contribute one dollar to this fund which he is expected to earn himself. The other dollar is contributed by the group committee out of proceeds from the sale of apples on Apple Day. The boys are requested to turn in their dollar to their Cub or Scout master not lat- er than December 15th, On Sunday, November 8th, the Sunday near- est Armistice Day, Girl Guides, Brownies, Scouts and Cubs will parade to their respec- tive churches, Those attending Saint Martin's will do so at 8,15 A.M. Those going to the Community Church will. attend the eleven o!clock ser- vice, LOCAL MASONIC GROUP VISIT LAKEHEAD LODGE On Saturday, October 24th, Right Worship-- ful Brother H,J.Coe, District Deputy Grand Master of Algoma District attended Royal Lodge A.F, and A.M. No.453 G,R.C,. on his official inspection. Accompanying Right Worshipful Brother Coe was District Secre- tary R.H.Scowen and Chairman of Masonic Education H. Hall. WOMEN OF THE MOOSE HOLD MEETING Women of the Moose Chapter 1426 held their regular meeting on Oct.2l1st. Senior Regent Betty O'Neil chaired the meeting, Four dele- gates, M.Mantey, N.Marquis, M.Gross and L, Haviland, were elected to attend the Women of the Moose Conference in Ft,William on October 23, 24 and 25th, Tickets for the Twenty-five Dollar Grocery Hamper are on sale now from any Chapter mem- ber. Door Prize was won by Kay Louk, The next meeting will be held on November 4th in the Terrace Bay Moose Hall, The Women of the Moose are now starting another Home Bingo. Cards go on sale Wed.
