In addi- tion there will be a Bonspiel type of play every Friday evening, Each Bonspiel will take 4-5 weeks to run off and teams will be Picked by chance. We will average 14 games per weck ver team, TEAMS - Tcams this year may be made up of any Sour wemsers., Entry may be ty team or singiy. Apjiieation torms are now available from J,Carvin, membership chairman or any member of tre executive, If you would like to curl and are not on a team fill out an application form and we will try to place you. LCs -- We expect to have ice about November ist with regular curling to start on Novem- ber 16th, FIGURE SKATING NEWS The Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club wish to announce the skating dates for the 1959-60 season, Skating will commence the week of Novem- ber 9th under the direction of Mrs, Ivy Pattison who has been appointed the Club Professional for the forthcoming term. A new 'Family Plan Membership! has been put into effect this year which we think all parents of two or more children who take Figure Skating will appreciate, The outline of the Plan is as follows:- THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15TH AT 8:00 P.M. FREE ADMISSION CANADA Membership term ~- one year for each price mentioned. Commencing at 9 A.M, the various events were run off under black skies and a slight drizzle. An accelerated pace saw the girls part of the scheduled full day programme completed by noon, In spite of a heavier (Cont'd page 9)
