Final plans have been realized for the judging of the gardens of members of the Jun- ior .Garden Club. The Judges, V.Hopper, R. Scowen, C.MacDonald, H.Smith and H,Goodfellow will make their first inspection at the end of this week, Junior Gardeners get your eardans ready for their first visit. The gardens will be judged this time on neatness, weeding, straight- ness of rows, grouping and spacing of rows. BLOOD DONOR CLINIC HERE AUGUST 19TH Plans are underway for a Red Cross Blood Donor Clinic to be held in the High School Auditorium on Wednesday, August 19th from" 2-5 P.M. and 6:30-9:30 P.M. This clinic is being sponsored by the Terrace Bay Nurses. There is no substitute for blood when it is needed and the only source of supply is a fellow human heing. The Blood donor must be between the ages of 18 and 65, Some one hundred and fifteen Hospitals in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario are served from the Winnipeg Department of the Blood Transfusion Service. Installation of the 1959-60 officers of th< Women of the Moose, Chapter 1426 Terrace Bay took place Friday evening June 19, in the Moose Hall in a colorful and solemn ceremony, The Head table was attractively covered with , a white linen cloth draped with the Chapter's ; insignia and appropriately placed about the } t | table were white tapers in brass holders, a ! low brass bowl filled with tulips and for- | get-me-nots and a tail crystal vase of red and white carnations, the latter a gift of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1752. | Guides Molly Gross and Elsie Berndtsson { escorted members of the Loyal Order of Moose | who conducted the installation ceremony.
