Mrs, R.Spicer spent last week visiting friends in the Lakehead Cities. St.John's Anglican Church held their Annual Mother's Day tea on Saturday. Mrs. R.J.S.Inshaw welcomed the guests and Mrs.T,.Wilson and Mrs.R.Spicer were in charge of the sewing table. Serving the guests were:- Misses Dorothy Sly, Dorothy Slater, Ora Mae Harness, Elva McGregor, Sylvia Harness, Cheryl Everett and Lois Inshaw, Kitchen Committee (replenishing) were Mesdames J,Graham, C.Sparkes, J.Corbett and B.Lidkea, Mrs, E.,O'connor made the tea and Mrs.T.Arnot was cashier, Lorne Caldwell is in Toronto on holiday. Mrs. J.Matheson, Fort William, is in Schreiber visiting friends and is the guest of Mrs. F.Caldwell, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Gellert and family left this week to holiday in Ottawa, Eganville and points east. Mrs. P. Syvitsky is to attend the annual Convention of the C.W.L. in St,Agnes! Parish in Fort William as a representative of the Schreiber Catholic Women's League. ' ?
