The Beavers, heavier, experien: = and efficient, kept good control of the pla: and showed. glaringly the mistakes in Super: attacks, This in itself was well worth the ° and it is hoped that the Superiors will havi | gained immensely by the 'experience, The highlight of the game was during the middle of the third period with Superiors trailing 5-1. Calder came from the side to evade three defensive players and neatly oui smart Brooks, A minute later Blom pulled as brilliant a play when he came into the defe. and screened a counting shot. Within the nex minute, Hansen got another goal to bring tk-~ score within one of a tie. The sparked up offense by Superiors left too many openings for the Beavers and their four goals in tw: minutes went on the record, Superiors will journey to Marathon, Déc. llth to meet the Marcuries for the second + in the best of two, total score, series fo: Soughton Jeweler'!s Trophy.
