Donna Lohr has. enrolled at a student Nurse at the Port Arthur General Hospital and Sandra McInnes will train at St.Joseph's Hospital. Dennis Scowen will return to Pickering College. Willard and Norman Vezina left Sept.2nd for St.Paul's College, Winnipeg. Daisy Lehto attended a summer course in teach- ing and is situated at Eagle River. Diane Beddard is in the Lakehead to take her Fifth Form at Port Arthur Collegiate. Laurie Mae Marcella and Sharlene Pineault are enrolled in St.Patrick's High School in Fort William. Bill Marsh leaves on Saturday for Marquette University and Jack returns to Waterloo Coll- ege the following week. Jim Erickson will enroll at the Lakehead College on Sept.16th. Gilles LeBlanc left on Saturday for his second year at Campion College, Regina, Sask. Richard Marcella will attend Teacher's College in London while Paul leaves on the I7th-to resume his studies at Assumption College in Windsor. Joseph will return to St.Paul!'s College in Winnipeg on the 16th. Vincent Kenney and Lorne Zwaresh will also return to Assumption College, Windsor. Keith Sitch and Marvin Steen leave on the 16th to enrol at United College, Winnipeg and Dick Rowson and Brian Harvey will enroll at the University of Manitoba. Ray Husband will also resume his studies at Manitoba University, Mrs.L.Diduch and Mrs.Y¥.Vienneau were re- cent hostesses at the latter's home when Mrs. Fay Vienneau was guest of honour at a Stork Shower. Fay received a corsage on arrival and was seated in a tastefully decorated chair banked by gladiolus as she opened her many lovely gifts from the twenty-seven invited guests. Bingo was enjoyed during the evening and the door prize was won by Mrs.Bett Nealy of Schreiber. Miss Eleanor Gresdal assisted the hostesses serve a buffet supper. Joyce Timpano and daughter enjoyed a vaca- tion at Loring, Ont. Vic & sister-in-law Gail Sweet joined them for two weeks and they all spent a week at North Bay enroute home. Mr.& Mrs.Ted McInnes and family spent some time at Trout Creek enroute to Eastern Ontario, Mr.& Mrs.J.Welling spent Labour Day week- end at Memory Lodge, Pine Bay. They were accompanied by Mr.& Mrs,Ab.Gray, Ft.William. Terrace Bay Visitors: Miss Kay McKnight, Toronto, visited at the home of Mr.& Mrs.K.Hutchinson. M.& Mrs.H.G.Cheney of Winnipeg spent two weeks with daughter Mrs. B.Peterkin. Mr.Ed Helmink and daughters stopped here enroute to Niagara Falls, Mr.& Mrs.Esmond Morgan, Hamilton, in Town for the Marcella-Laporte wedding, were driven home by Don and Vida who also spent some time with Don's parents in Joliette, Quebec. Sonny Helmink entertained six friends on his tenth birthday on Saturday and Sharon McDonald had fifteen little chums to help her celebrate her seventh on Monday after- noon. STORK CLUB NEWS Born to Mr.& Mrs.Earl Knight, Aug. 28th, a baby girl. To Rev, and Mrs.R.Crook, Schreiber, on Aug..30th - a baby boy. Mr.& Mrs.Rudi Gerlach welcomed a baby boy on Aug, 30th. A boy also arrived on Aug.30th for Mr.& Mrs.Edward Wainnikka of Schreiber. To Mr.& Mrs.Donald Blom on Sept.3rd, a baby boy. To Mr.& Mrs.Delmar Condie on Sept.6th a baby son and om the same date a daughter arrived for Mr.& Mrs.Emmett Holland also of Schreiber. To Mr.& Mrs.Joe Cavanaugh, Deep River, on Friday, Sept.5th - a daughter.
