There was an excellent turnout of members. Officers for the in-coming term are: Senior Regent - Muriel Mantey; Jr: Regent - Betty O'Neil; Graduate Regent - Natalie -.- Coates; Treasurer - Molly Gross; Chaplin - Evelyn Partington; Recorder --- Elizabeth Burr. Two new members were initiated into: the Chapter following the opening of the meeting. They were Virginia Galvin, sponsored by Elsie Berndtsson, and Pearl Noonan, sponsored by Betty O'Neil. Following the ritual of the meeting: several reports and discussions were held, among them being co-worker, Elsie Berndtsson convenor of. the curling banquet who thanked her .assistants,.for their:capable help which made the project an outstanding success. She gave a favorable report on the event, The installation ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 28th, and will be followed by a social evening for members and escorts. The co-workers of the Chapter admired the hall with its cool green colour scheme, 'beige and brown drapes, well planned floor spage and well equiped kitchen, It was reported that the formal opening exercises would be held in the near future. Following adjournment the membership committee served a salad luncheon to Senior Regent N. Coates, Jr. Regent Muriel Mantey, ' Graduate Regent, Barbara Haughn, Treasurer Elsie Berndsson, Chaplain, Margaret Duriez, recorder, Elizabeth Burns and the Committee Chairman and Co-workers Anne Todesco, Anne (cont'd next col.)
