fe RECIPE OF THE WEEK PRUNE PUFF egg white /8 teaspoon salt tablespoons sugar teaspoons lemon juice jar (8 ounces) juhior baby food prunes egg yolk teaspoon grated lemon rind Beat egg white and salt in medium size bowl until foamy; gradually beat in 2 tablespoons sugar until meringue stands in soft peaks, Fold in 1 teaspoon lemon juice and strained prunes; pile into dessert dishes, Beat egg yolk in small bowl wntil thick and lemon-colored; beat in 1 tablespoon sugar, 3 teaspoons lemon juice and lemon rind; pour over prune puff; serve at once, Makes 3 servings. A, Giesbrecht of Winnipeg, It's nice to see Millie and Bill Borsum back in Terrace Bay for a couple of weeks and of course to take in the Ross- port Derby. Millie and Bill reside in Appleton, Wisconsin, Rita Corrigan has her Mother, Mrs. J, E, Chateauvert of Amprior, Ont. spending the summer with her, Mr, and Mrs, William Evans with their daughters Ruth and Joan of Nelson, B.C, were visitors last weekend of their neice Yolande Boudreau and family, Gilles LeBlane returned home last Sunday from a two-week vacation in Athol- ville and Campbellton, N.B. where he visited with relatives and old school chums, On his return he also stopped in Montreal to visit his Grandmother, Mrs. J. A. Plourde,. Mr, and Mrs, Thomas Thompson of Kingston, Ontario visited with their son and family last week, Dorothy, Verl and ~ Leslie Rhae, Marg and Leo Phillips and family spent a week at Chippewa Park recently. Mary and Curly Hale have Curly's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs, William Hale and Bill Jr. of Janesville, Wisc, staying with them for a few days. Ab Keene, now stationed in northern British Columbia, was in Terrace Bay last weekend renewing acquaintances while a guest of the Joe Campbells. The Dim Bulbs will hold their meeting next Tuesday evening, July 24th at the home of Mrs, Louise Stuart. Mary Lou Devine of Toronto is visiting her aunt and uncle the Ed Gavanaughs for two weeks, Word has been received of the birth of a baby boy, Thomas Richard, on June 9th to Mr, and Mrs. Ray Newton. Ray was associated with the Recreation staff here and his wife Jean is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Harry Goodfellow, Poplar Crescent. 0-0-0
