NORTH CAMP MEN The Recreation Association is trying to be of more help to all those living at the Camp, we have recently provided a few bats, balls and old bases for softball. There is a registration sign posted in the cafeteria for all men who like to play soft- ball. We will be picking up this sign on Monday, so if you wish to play ball, sign up before then, LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL ma The second games of the Little League schedule will be played this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on the St.Martin's School ball field. Come out and see those boys play. Yankees vs The Braves - 6:30 p.m. Red Sox vs The Dodgers - 7:45 p.m. Our first scheduled games of last week saw the Yankees with a little more strength .. than the Red.Sox, and they won the first game, During the second game, we saw the Dodgers beat the Bravés, The four. teams are not yet in top shape but as the season continues, we will see considerable improve- ment in the boys, The teams appear to be unevenly matched, but just give the Red Sox and, the Braves a "atkis more time and they will be powerhouses. Now that the class is advanced so far, it is hard to fit in new members and we do not wish to hold up the others, to teach from the be- ginning again. 'We have recently started artificial respiration, which is. something you can never know enough about and that it would never be needed. We are working on the Holger Nielsen method, and we invite all interested to come and watch this and also get in and practise if you wish, SUMMER PLAYGROUND STAFF This summer we have a larger registra- tion of children than ever before, This means that leadership will be a big factor in our success. Up to now, we have ten people registered in our Playground Leader Course, which will take place on June 25th, 27th and 29th, during the evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Recreation Centre in the small meeting room. . Our carefully selected playground staff are as follows: Director - Miss Elaine Spencer Assist.
