WEAVER-BANKS NUPTIALS. The marriage of Margaret Jean, eldest daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Norval Banks of Terrace Bay to Russell R. Weaver, only son of Mr. and Mrs, J. R. Weaver, Schreiber, was solemmized by Reverend Father Gallagher in St, Martin's Roman Catholic Church, . Terrace Bay at noon Saturday, June 2nd, Standards of mixed gladioli decked the altar while white bows designated the guest pews. Soloist was Mrs. A. Gerow who sang "On This Day" and "Mother At Your Feet We're Kneeling" during the signing of the register, with Mrs. E. Pineault as organist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length gow of layered net over taffeta, the top layer embroidered in white scroll, The bodice of lace was topped by a lace bolero with peter pan collar and short sleeves. Her petal shaped headdress held the chapel veil of illusion net and she carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses, Lace mittens, white pumps, pearls and earrings completed the bridal outfit. Maid of honour, Lucille Jolin, wore a waltz length gown of aqua net, the under- skirt of frilled tiers over taffeta. Heheaddress was of pleated net centred with white roses and she wore white pumps and lace mittens, She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow baby mums centred with talisman rose, Bridesmaids, both sisters of the bride, were gowned alike. Myrtle wearing blue and Mary in pink, the skirt cut diagonally of lace with net gathered to it. Bodices of strapless lace were also topped with lace boleros with short sleeves and peter pan collars, They wore headdresses of pleated net to match their gowns, centred with flowers, -- Diane Boivan, the wee flower girl wore a blue nylon dress with white flowers, a white hat trimmed with flowers, white sandels and mittens, She carried a basket of blue and white carnations, pink roses and shasta daisies, Groomsman was Don Souliere of Schreiber and ushers were Gerald and Bob Weaver, cousins of the groom, A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, 181 Hudson Drive.
