Amateur Show will be pre- sented in our High School Auditorium, Entry forms for this show are being sent out to the Schools in Terrace Bay and Schreiber, for both the Elementary and High School students. This year; in-addition to the two foregoing divisions, an Adult division is created to allow participation by this group. Applications by Adults are to be sub- mitted to Chairman Bill Sernesky either by phone or in writing. All applications for each of the three divisions are to be in the Chairman's hands by April 30th so that the full evening's programme may be prepared, ist, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in each division and the Grand Award- a personal trophy - will go to the winner selected from the three lst place winners, Impartial judges will be appointed to adjudge the contestants, All contestants will be issued Admission tickets and general admission charges are as follows: Adults = Og Students. -. 25¢ Children we LO O--O-0 Page 8 AN OPEN LETTER TO MOTHERS IN TERRACE BAY Have you a daughter who is a Brownie or a guide, or one that is interested in becoming one? If so we need your help and advice, Come out to our Regular Girl Guide Association Meeting, Monday evening April 23rd at eight o'clock in the small meeting room at the Recreation Centre, and show us that you are at least ready to back us up, even if you are not able to join the Association, We are a very small group, faced with the need of another Brownie pack who need both active and moral support. Please keep this date open and plan to attend, o-0-0 LADIES CURLING The Terrace Bay Ladies Curling Club are holding a mixed Social on Saturday, April 2lst at 7:00 p.m. All lady curling members may bring a guest. There will be mixed curling, dancing and refreshments, Any member wishing to participate in the mixed curling pease give your name to P, Wellings or A, Latour. On April 24th, Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. There will be the Ladies Annual Curling Meeting.
