Memorial Trophy. "Big Chief" Wig, Palesface's Coach and "Old Rugged" Gross coach of the Lunchpails have their lineups "almost" ready and Tues- day night showld be a real battle as the Palefaces fight to regain the S.H. Memorial Trophy, So hockey fans be at "rink-side" Tuesday night to see these "old timers" (Cont. on next col,) APR LF ANNUAL HOCKEY CLASSIC (Cont.) in a game to be remembered, Admission -_ silver collection. See Page 8 for team line ups. 0-0-0 LOCAL FISH AND GAME ASSOCIATION HOLD SUCCESSFUL MEETING On April 2nd a meeting was held at the Recreation Centre for the purpose of reorganizing this group. A very good attendance of enthusiastic hunters and fishermen resulted in the meeting being able to carry on a lively and serious discussion of the necessary business. Chairman of the meeting was Don Ollen- Bittle, who later conducted an election of officers, all of whom are eager to see this club revived and taking an active piace in our community. Officers elected were: President - Ken MacLeod (Hydro) Vice-Pres, - Bob Hales Secretary - Stan Hodgkiss Treasurer - Nelson Allen A membership committee headed by Tom Latour is currently contacting potential members and the response has been excellent, Since a fish restocking program is al- ready under consideration for waters in this area, Clem Lemay accepted chairmanship of a committee to look after this important work. Several expressions of opinion were heard in favour of doing all possible to encourage the youngsters in our community to participate in the club activities, A committee to look after a junior type pro- gram is now under consideration, (Cont. on page &)
