BOUDREAU-~SIMMS NUPTIALS ': The marriage of Cecile Therese Boudreau eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Donat Boudreau Terrace Bay and Mr, Clare Blake Simms, son of Mr, and Mrs, E, Simms: of Toronto, was solemized in St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church, Terrace Bay on Saturday, September 17th at ten o'clock, Reverend J, McHugh officiated before an altar decorated with white asters. The guest pews were marked by an aster and white satin bows. Mrs, Ee Pineault was organist and the choir sang "On This Day O Beautiful Mother", "Panis Angelicus" and the duet rendered "Mother At Your Feet We're Kneeling" during the Nuptial Mass, While the bridal party were signing the register Mrs, Pineault played Gounod!s "Ave Maria", Given in marriage by her Father, the bride chose a strapless gown of illusion net over taffeta and hooped satin. The dress featured lace inserts in the bodice and bouffant skirt and .was topped with a lace jacket with stand-up collar. Her chapel veil of illusion net was draped to a scalloped headdress of knife-pleated nylon net. She wore two strand pearls and earrings and carried a Rosary and a spray bouguet of demure Sweetheart roses and batchelor buttons tied with tulle, The attendants were gowned idanbibandy in ballerina length red nylon with small white dots and carried bouquets of white carnations, The bridesmaids, Miss Gay Roy and Mrs, Tom Smith chose princess style dresses over satin slips and crin- olines and topped with matching jackets and layer collars, Their bandeaus of pleated red nylon, white shoes and gloves offset their ensembles and they wore lockets presented to them by the bride, The junior bridesmaids, both sisters of the bride, wisses Annette and Paulette .. Boudreau, repeated the red theme with full skirted dresses and puff sleeves, matching gloves and picture hats and white shoes, They wore gold crosses, also the gift of the bride, Attending his brother as 'groomsman was Mr, Blake Simms of Toronto. Ushers were Dick Jones and Sid Spencer of Terrace Bay. A wedding breakfast for the immediate family and bridal party was held at Hotel © Terrace following the ceremony. A reception for 150 guests was held in the Curling Club Lounge, Saturday after- noon, and the guests were received by the Mother of the bride who wore a box style suit with brown skirt, brown and white (Cont. on next col.) Swirhun, The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Muskoka, Ontario, the bride wearing a white wool tweed suit. The jacket featur-~ ing a deep shawl collar and low half-belt and push-up sleeves over a straight cut skirt. Her accessories were all of moss green and she wore a corsage of red roses, Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs, Simms will reside in Terrace Bay.
