RECREATION FLYER GREAT MAGICIAN SHOW! TONIGHT is the night in the High School Auditorium, where we are presenting one of the all-time greats, Mr, Furze, the magician. He will put on a two-hour show _that will fascinate you. The prices are as follows: Adults - 75¢ High School Students - 50¢ Children - 25¢ Be sure you see this man perform his wonders, PUPPETRY DEMONSTRATION We wish to remind all those who are in- terested in any form of art to try and attend our puopet demonstration on Friday, Septe ember 30th, at 8:00 p.m, in the large meeting room of the Rec, Centre. BOXING CLUB : Each Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 to 8:30, George Savoy handles a group of interested boys wishing to stay in shape for hockey or learn some of the skills of boxing. Our first night's operation found over 30 people out. What is necessary now is someone who will lend a hand with these boys, as 30 boys of all ages is too big a job for one instructor, If you can help out, please contact George Savoy or the Recreation Office, LADIES TUMBLING CLASS We would like to inform the ladies that your nights in the High School will be start- ing soon. Keep an eye open for the starting night. WINDUP With over one hundred in attendance the Annual Windup of the Terrace Bay Amateur Softball Association held last Friday evening in the Terrace Bay Arena 'was hailed as one of the most suécessful events as well as a perfect ending to the softball season. President Peter E, Mazza serving as Master of Ceremonies for the presentation programme after welcoming the guests called upon Post Master W. E,. Cavanaugh Recreation Association member to present the Pennant Award to Manager Al Ziegel- man of Shift #3. Following this, Chair. man of the Terrace Bay Recreation Association, M, 0. Nelson presented the Fraser-Brace Trophy to Manager Ray Belliveau and his championship Shift #4 team, Both Mr, Cavanaugh and Mr, Nelson delivered congratulatory remarks to the Softball Association on their successful year as well as relaying the Recreation Association's congratulations to the Managers, coaches and members of Shift #3 and Shift #4.
