TERRACE BAY MEN'S CHORUS Rehearsals for the Terrace Bay Men's Chorus are being resumed Monday, Sept- ember 12th from 6:30 pem. to 8:30 pem. in the Recreation Centre, same time, same place as last year. New members are welcome. Anyone who can sing and is willing to give up a couple of hours a week, and can meet attendance requirements will be auditioned and we will do our best to find a place for you. For our members, new music has been obtained and we have a full work schedule for the fall and winter months. , Let's have everybody out to rehearsal Monday, September 12th at 6:30 pem. 0-0-0 OFF THE BAT COLUMN In "leading off" this colum, players and supporters alike will not be "called out" by attending the Softball Windup to be held Friday night commencing at 8:30 pem. in the Terrace Bay Arena, the chairmanship of "All Star" Frank Whitfield and co-chairman "Salary" Roland Grishaber, the committee comprising the rosters of these two teams have gone all out in their plans for a bigger and better windup. Once again we must remind all those under twenty-one (21) that through the thoughtfulness of the local constabulary, you will be allowed in at 11:15 pem. As much as we would like you to be with us ajl evening, regulations must be understood and accepted, Admission to the Cabaret at 1,50 per couple is set to all's reach, Refreshments will be available from 8:30 until 11:00. With the definite closing of sales at 11:00, we again issue the warning of "come early, stay late", Dancing to Joe Adamo's 5=piece orchestra will be another great "order of the night" commencing at 9:30 and ending at a wee hour of the morning. Tickets are available from any softball player or Executive member for those wishing to get out and enjoy themselves. During the band's intermission starting at 11:30, presentation of awards will take place. The Pennant Winners Award will be presented to Manager Al Ziegelman and his Shift #3. The Fraser- Brace Trophy, emblematic of softball supremacy will be awarded manager Ray Belliveau and his Shift #4. Further trophies are those to the leaders for their accomplishments, W. Henry and Alf will not be with us for further summer vacations plus "working their way through University". Though these two great sportsmen will be sorely missed in our sports circles, we have no doubt of the success in life awaiting doctors-to-be Krahn and Adrian.
