RECREATION FLYER ROLLER SKATING It has been brought to our attention that several skaters are lending their roller skates to spectators, Because of this other arenas have found it necessary to charge all spectators, Therefore, if this continues in our arena, spectators, will pay an admission fee, é Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3:30 -- We dre going to give the opportunity for those who are unable to roller skate during the night sessions to do so, June 8th will be the first such time, Saturday afternoon from 2:30 = 43:30 is roller skating day for the children of the Public and St. Martin's school. Be sure to get out early to get first choice of the skates, SOCCER PLAYERS ; The first practice for those wishing to play soccer will be this Friday from 7:00-9:00 pam. If you can kick a ball get out to the field at the South Camp. We are also looking for referees, If you can take part as an official please be out Friday, TENNIS PLAYERS It is important that all people wish- ing to play tennis in our town attend the meeting Thursday at 7:30. It will be held in the small room of the Recreation Centre. TEEN AGE TUMBLING There is no more class meeting on Saturday afternoons. We hope to organize a group of teen-agers for tumbling in the Fall if there is the interest, EAGER SWIMMERS This will be a notice to the parents and children, that there is no supervision at the Hydro dam beach, At present we are repairing the walks etc., and can not be responsible for any one going out to swim in the cold water before we are ready to operate, 0-0-0 period, iP Te Ae ART CLUB Gustav Weisman 0.5.A., of the Ontario College of Art, Toronto, will instruct at the Lakehead Area Art Assoc- iation's 4th annual Summer Course, June 20th to July 2nd, 1955, Mr. Weisman is a scholarship graduate of the Ontario College of Art, has studied in Mexico, executed murals of note, and exhibited in major Canadian Art Ex- hibits, He has conducted several short courses in Ontario,- The course at the Lakehead in June will interest the beginner and the more advanced painter, Sketching, design and composition, figure drawing, colour, will be dealt with in lecture, demons- tration, and field exercises, Goures sessions will provide for 60 hours of instruction in the 2 week Information concerning registration ,and accomodation may be obtained from: Terrace Bay Recreation Committee, 0-0-0 KINDERGARTEN ENROLMENT ST. MARTIN'S SCHOOL Enrolment of children for Kinder- garten Classes for Sept. 1955 will take place at St, Martin's School on Jume 7th from 9:30 asm, to 12 noon, Forms for official registration will be filled out and Dr, M, McCausland and Mrs, Mary Hale, School Nurse will be present to give each child a physical examination, Parents are requested te make every effort to have their children enrolled on this date as the physical check-up is very important to your child's welfare, REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLMENT Children must be 5 years old by December 31st, 1955.
