KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HOLD SECOND ANNUAL _ EASTER BALL « On Friday evening, April 15th, some - 175 Knights and guests attended the Second Annual Easter Ball held in the beautiful and spacious Auditorium of the Terrace Bay High School. This Annual event, sponsored by St. Edward's Council No. 3554 of Schreiber, Terrace Bay and Marathon, had guests from each of the communities along the North Shore, and everyone enjoyed dancing to the versatile music of "The Rhythmaires", Terrace Bay's newest Dance Band, . For many this represented the first dance since well before the Lenten season, and the large crowd enjoyed the opportunity afforded for a night of gay dancing. Feature of the evening was the door prize, a beautiful Kenwood _ blanket, which was won by lir. and Mrs, Jack McCouan of Schreiber, The lucky . ticket .was-drawn by Mrs, E, A. Marostica, Novelty dances contributed to the evening's enjoyment among which was an ever popular "Paul Jones", Brand new silver dollars were given away, as-"Spot Dance" prizes, and these were won by Dr. and Mrs, Hugh Campbell of Terrace Bay. Shortly after the mid-night inter- mission, a "Waltz Contest" was held,. with Mr, and Mrs, W. Ziegler of Marathon the unanimous choice of the Judges. Judging were Dr. and Mrs, Hugh Campbell of Terrace Bay, Miss "Babe" McBride of Schreiber and "Mars" Marostica, Fourth Degree Knight of Fort William.
