The local quartet got off to a good start Tuesday morning, March 15th, defeating Mrs. Watt's, McKenzie Island entry. Later that aftermoon, they repeated their performance by defeating Mrs, Hall's entry from Red Rock, Playing their third game of the day, the local-girls lost to Mrs, Fogagth's entry from the Lakehead, Wednes-~ day morning, the Terrace Bay rink defeated hrs. Lund's rink from Rainy River, giving them a record.of : 3%wins: and' 1..Loss, The Lakehead entry went on to win the champ- ionship by defeating Mrs, Watt's, McKenzie island.
