The Canadian Pacific's new Transcon- tinental all stainless-steel Scenic-Dome streamliner "The Canadian" will make its first run through Terrace Bay on . April. 25th This train will be a daily westbound and eastbound train, but will not stop in Terrace Bay, Approximate times will be 10:00 a.m. westbound and 1:30 a.m, east- bound stopping at Schreiber, Trains now known as 8 and 4; ° 3 and 7 will run on the same schedule, but will run as one section with the Toronto and Montreal sections consolidating at Sudbury. R. J. Hale, C.P.R. agent in Terrace Bay will issue a definite near for the Canadian at a later date,. 0-0-0 SNOW PLOUGH The parents are urged to caution their children in regard to the snow plough. To do an effective job the plough must travel close to the edge of the road and it must move at a reasonable speed to throw the snow over the banks and off the road. . With the banks being so high there is a hazard to children particularly if they are playing in the driveways or entrance paths at the edge of the road. The children should be cautioned to stay well back from the road when. the plough is working on their street. From 1952 to 1954 inclusive, the "Pale-Faces" proved their dormant talent into reality in winning and retaining the trophy.
