NORTH SHORE HOCKEY - TERRACE LOSES IN OVERTIME Terrace Bay's four game winning streak was broken in another keenly contested overtime session when Nipigon defeated the Superiors 5-4 here Sunday afternoon. Minus their starry centre Osmar, who received a bad knee injury in the last game with Marathon, the Superiors were somewhat lacking in their usual organiz- ation, and three of the Nipigon counters were long shots from outside the defensive zone which caught Bobby on an off night, Karl Knight, back after an absence of several games, was injured again in the first period and was out for the rest of the game, : Moro led the Superiors with 2 goals, "Stachiw and Bond 1 each, with assists going to Diduch, Stachiw, Bond and Hayes, Although Nipigon's goals were 2. to Mannila, 1 each to Baxter and Kotzma, Dunville on the defence was their main threat. - = NIPIGON WINS AGAIN ON TUESDAY . Tuesday's game in Nipigon lost Terrace their first-place spot in the N.S,H.L. race, by a goal, with a 6~5 score, but Terrace went through some bad moments during the first period when Nipigon piled up a five-goal lead. In the future some of the players from #1 Shift will be playing with Services "Tigers" and some with #4 Structural, As this set up will mean only one House League game on Wednesday nights we are trying to arrange a second game with an outside team such as White River, Marathon, Red Rock etc. when possible, 'There will also be a House League game on-a Saturday or Thursday night depending on the ice time alloted to the House League, The following is a schedule for games up to and including February 10th.
