RECREATION FLYER A Special Notice to the Men's Gym Club From the time the ball season ended until the time hockey gets underway there is always a slack time in most community programs, We organized a gym club in order to give the men something to take up © as a recre tional activity. Now with the Recreation Centre getting underway the continuation of this Thursday night activ- ity depends solely on the participation and the groups ability to accept their own responsibility to keep this activity active. Mrs. D. Porter presided and the meeting was opened by singing O Canada, Minutes of the _ past meeting were read by Mrs. Ginn and the Treasurer's report was given by Mr, Cor- rigan. With the membership now so large, there was some discussion about holding the future meetings in the auditorium. Porter announced there would be no Home and School meeting in December, January 17th will be the next meeting, The business meeting was adjourned and turned over to Mr. Kenney who welcomed the members and introduced Mr. Greening, Separate School Inspector.' Mr. Kenney mo°- everyone famili r with the life and career of Mr. Greening. Mr. Greening then stated how much he appreciated being able to speak to the Home and School Association.
