FIRE PREVENTION NEWS "Let's grow up - not bum up" is this year's slogan for Fire Prevention Week, it was announced today by Fire Chief Geo. C, Maitland, Terrace Bay will join with thousands of other communities across the country in observing Fire Prevention Week which GovernorsGeneral Massey has proclaimed for the week of October 3-9, "Our aim during Fire Prevention Week," #. Chief Maitland stated, "will be to sell everyone on the idea that fire prevention is a life and death matter; that each individual owes it to himself, to his family and his community to think and act fire-safe every minute of the day the year-around,"!
