KIWANIS ESSAY CONTEST (Cont. ) "What Terrace Bay Means to Me" By Rita Vezina I love the beauty of our newly built homes gaily decorated with the birch, poplar and evergreen trademarks which mother nature so generously bestowed upon us. It means so much to me to be able to come home to a perfectly comfortable house after a few long hours spent at school, work or play. I love my school, not because it is so modern and new but because it is pre- paring me with such skillful educated . hands for the future whether it be long om Shorts I love the churches whichare God's houses and where one can bring all their troubles and tribulations. I love the many thrilling sports such as soft ball, hockey, basketball and swimming which are available to me at all times. It matters not when I wish to take advantage of these because some kind person is always at hand to make such entertainment possible, Last but certainly not least I love the people of this town, A warm greeting is always awaiting me any place I go whether I am in a hurry or just strolling along. Kind neighbours both rich and poor are always only too glad to help those in need, Let us use that old saying "A friend in need is a friend indeed" to des- cribe a most generous good-living people, To you Terrace Bay, I extend my sincer- est appreciation for all you have done and are continuing to do for me, I hope that we the children, teens and parents of Terrace Bay will continue to be one big happy family in our little heaven here on earth, Terrace Bay I will always be proud of yous TERRACE BAY Terrace Bav is the best little town to live in, Please believe me, When I tell you so} For it is just like a little heaven, And, God, gave it, to us you know. 0-0-0 FOR SALE One - 44 H.P.
