Volume 4, No. 15 TERRACE HIGH SCHOOL WINS BOWLING TROPHY The Inter-School Bowling Trophy, don-~ ated by Mr, Linkewich together with five individual trophies was won by Terrace Bay in a play off with Schreiber, On April 2, five of Schreiber's all-star bowlers came to Terrace and on April 9th five bowlers of Terrace went to Schreiber. It was a six game series, Terrace won the first four games, and that ended the bowling for this year with Terrace taking four points out of a possible seven. This is Terraces! second victory in a row, Last year this was an important victory as it was the first sport that the: Hi-School won, and now we are looking forward to the next year, Our bowlers, Mavis MacFadyen, Helen Laundy, Ray Husband, Bill Marsh and Terry Cavanaugh, were picked from the five top bowlers of the inter-form bowling league - won by Grade XII in the roll-offs,. Walter served in the R.C.A.F. and worked for the B,.B.C. in England, Holland, Belgium and Germany before going to Bermuda as Assistant Manager of Radio Bermuda.
