Trophy found its origin. Resulting from these repeated huddles, a challenge was verbally rendered by the Upper Floor Roomers to the Lower Floor Lodgers"to decide the better hockey team," With winds blowing 28 miles per, and the weather man clinging to Fahrenheit's lower section, some twenty-six players, managers, bookies and fans fought their way through to thé well ventilated local arena last Friday night in order to declare "The duel on and fight to the finish." In the October 30th, 1952 edition of the Terrace News, an article appeared under the caption "History Made by Terrace Bay Mixed 10-Pin League Formation." In last Friday's encounter, history was repeated with a number of our women-folk taking to the stick and puck, Shortly after the game got underway with "Groceteria" Jakobson calling his interpretations of the rules, ""Bulgie" Pattison who had just managed up from a ten minute stretch on the ice due.from a fall near the Lower Floor net wasted no time in accepting the pass from centre ice only to ruffle "Pilot Here and There" Jim Clancy, and SCOR (this was a dedicated goal). Due to this setback Clancy was replaced with ostracized Dick Jones, (cont. on page 7)
