Buck AL o~U-0 TEN PIN CHATTER Checkryn's Royals turned in a steller performance last night to humble the second place Warehousomen 4 to 0, This win places the Royals in a two-way tie with the Ware- house for third place, Pluta was the big gun with his mighty games of 171, 178, 161 for 510, the largest game of the night, Malashewski's 126, 173 and 201 for an even 500 aided Leon's cause, Hack Freeman used that new ball to good adventege with games of 140, 163 and 166 for 468, Capt. Marsh turned in the only commedable tally with his second game of 167 (206 with handicap). Sechesky's B B's turned back the league- leading Bears 3 to 1 in an action-packed contest that provided many a laugh (mostly on the Bears,) Sechesky led the way with his games of 154, 163, 167 (484) while Bd sho gave his all with 143, 170, 166 (479). Whitley's 159, with Smilsky's 154 helped Frank in his efforts, The only noteworthy performance by the Bears ws turned in by Ray Stachiw with games of 144, 184, 135 (463). Earl Veitch's 2nd game of 165 along with Pattison's last game of 162 were not quite enough to stop the powerful B B's, Frank Whitfield's Shift #1 boys trounced the Over-Heads 3 to 1 to gain lst place in the series to date, Garry Galvin led the scoring with 141, 150, 141 (432). Pete Diduch added his support with 155, 147, 119 (424). Honourable mention this week goes to lst year man Bill McKay with his fine three games of 160, 147, 111 (418) and a handsome 589 with-handicap. Len Pineault turned in 156 and 152 for his only games of the evening. Bob Shirriff with 164, 155, 165 (484) was the big scorer for the Over-Heads, Rowlandson's 400 and Ron Faust's 396 were not quite enough to slow down the Shift #1 Five. Chopty's Firebugs moved from third spot up to a three-way tie for 2nd by trouncing the Last Place Ingineers 3 to l. Nick led the way with 126, 134, 181 (441).
