Humour has it that one means of decid- ing victory was for one of our bigger bowlers to step on the foot of one of the opposition, somewhat crippling her and their score, It seems that one of our star bowlers hcaring so much about these 300 games was tickled happy when she got 300 - in three games, A "Pot Luck" supper was served at the home of Mrs, Irene Goodfellow. Maybe this repast should have preceded the games, as we haven't heard from the visitors since}! Later in the evening our ladies proved their skill further in subjecting the visitors to defeat at Bridgee All in all, a grand time was had by all, and our ladies have had the opportunity of substantiating their bragging. 0-0-0 AT THE MOVIES Friday evening, April 6/51 - 7:30 p.m. "This Time For Keeps" starring Esther Williams, Lauritz Melchoir, Jimmy Durante and Xavier Cugat and his Orchestra in a famous Joe Pasternak musical, Saturday Matinee April 7/51 - 2:00 p.m. "The Mighty McGurk" with Dean Stockwell, and Wallace Berry in a comedy-drama of the New York Bowery in the early 1900's, NOTE Theatre goers are asked to take note there will be no show on Saturday evening due to the badminton tournament, 0-0-0 IT'S YOUR DUTY TO PREVENT FIRES!!
