The By-Law covering dogs running at large provides that these dogs may be picked up and impounded, The owners may claim these dogs within 48 hours and on payment of $5.00 fine may re-possess them, Any dog that is impounded and not claimed after 48 hours may be destroyed, o-0-0 CURLING CLUB At an Executive meeting held last week, it was decided that the season's fees for men's curling would be set at 10.00. Notices will be posted in prominent places for the use of those persons wishing to sig- nify their intention to curl, Informetion in this respect may be had from Jim Duncan, Bill Baillie or Tom Latour. When indicating your intention to curl, please be sure to include your shift number, The opening event for this coming season will be in the form of a Turkey Bonspiel to be held sometime before Christmas. All members or prospective members are asked to please note that club buttons will be availeble this year. Also, thet as in the past, the New Year's Dance will be sponsored by the Club.
