In regard to other interference, a communication from the Inspector requests that the complainants note the time and duration of 'interference so that the Inspector can arrange to arrive when the noise is on. Enthusiasm was abundant and so practices have been scheduled for the balance of the week in order to get the "ole soup bones" limbered up for Sunday's Curtain-raiser. The gang from Structural have agreed to take on the Question Marks in a battle to the finish at the local diamond on Sunday. Game starts at 2:00 p.m. One or two methods for raising funds were discussed and among them was a Stag Smoker set for Saturday, July 8th. The event was uncer the able chairmanship of John Macdonald, the genial manager cf the hotel, to whom must go much of the credit for the very satisfactory results of the afternoon, Acting as hosts and ushers for the occasion were President Bert Laundy and Dr. Mike McCausland who oo ged their duties with dignity and grace. Presiding over the tea tables were two charming members of the club; Petite Ray wood, wearing a gown of blue silk with hat and cigar to match was utterly bewitching as he or she poured the savoury ncctar into cups as delicate as himself or herself? While Gordon Rowlandson, gowned in blue jersey silk with sweetheart neckline and pearls around his or her ? lux-complexioned throat, was the cynosure of all eyes, Equally charming were the waiters or waitresses; Ed, Cavanaugh, Jack Shaunessy, Monty Paget and Ken Harmon, who daintily attired in apron and cap served the guests with promptness am efficiency, Jack Wade with his committee of baby watchers, armed with toys, arrowroot biscuits . and knockout drops kept the little dears in perfect peace while their mothers enjoyed their beas Cont'd on Page 3
