The visitors took home the bacon, having defeated our ladies by a meagre one pin margin on the afternoon's total pin-fall, Chapleau totalled 4,698 with Terrace Bay rolling 4,697. Individual prizes for the day were won by Dorothy Delaney with a 3 game total of 609 and visitor D,. Fortunetto with 577. The visitors were greeted by their hostesses at the train and taken to various houses for lunch, After bowling, lunch was served in Teen Town for the visitors and mem- bers of the local ladies' league. In the evening the victors were entertained by several of their local opponents and were then taken to the various homes where they spent the night, leaving the next morning for Marathon. A vote of thanks is due to all of the League members who rallied so readily to furnish the lunch, especially when such little notice was given, A hearty thank-you to Clarence Buck, Gord Keeley'and Paul Cavanaugh for a grand job or score-kceping. (They sure are hen=pecked now). 0-0-0 COMMERCIAL LEAGUE Ernie Haight bowled a nice 680 to help his team get 19 points to put them within 9 points of top place which is held by the Hotel Whiz Bangs.
