Weather permitting! -- there will be public skating - for adults only - at the School Rink every night from now on, As an added extra piece of pleasure, for this first Saturday night, there will be music to skate tO. The lights are now being installed and a heater has been installed in the small hut to be used for changing skates, ' A 0-0-0 RECREATION COMMITTEE = ANNUAL MEFTING The Annual Meeting, to which all residents are urged to attend, is slated for Friday, February 17th, in Teen Town's Club Room, Inasmuch as this Committee has been functioning for just a little under a year and no doubt there are some questions and criticisms that many of you people wish to put forward, At present, this year's Committee are working out the details of the programme to be completed before December 3lst, and are going to require: | ..4 the help of all citizens in order to do so. Your Committee are always only too pleased to leafn of your needs and wishes at any time and if they can possibly help you, they want you to feel that is the reason they are holding office, Turn out at the meeting on Friday the 17th and meet the Committee Members, 0-0-0 LEGION NEWS A social evening open to all veterans is scheduled for Saturday evening, February 25th, This event is being put on by the Terrace Bay Branch of the Canadian Legion in an effort to acquaint those ex-service personnel who are not as yet Legion members with one phase of Legion activities, These affairs are without a doubt the most enjoyable in Terrace Bay so don't miss it.
