(Se now the scramble for baby-sitters is on). Invitations will be going out in the mail this week-end to every adult living in Terrace Bay plus any LongLac employees living in Schreiber. : A full evening's enjoyment has been planned by the Committee, sterting at 10 o'clock and lasting till 2 a.m. There will be dancing to the melodic strains of Ted Goodsell and his Red Jacket Orchestra, During the evening free refreshments will be served buffet style -and paper hats and balloons will be available to all, There will be door prizes for the lucky couple, so don't forget to bring your invitation with you as it may be the one with that all important number on it. Up till the time of going to press, we have not yet re~ ceived confirmation of our talent for a floor show. However, we do expect to have somé form of entertainment for you, which is scheduled to go on at 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 am. ALL indications point toward a real evening of fun galore, so dust off that Sunday suit and be sure to be attendance, 0-0-0 CURLING CLUB All curlers are asked to watch for notices regarding breakdown of rinks and the schedule for the Novelty Bonspiel. For those who wish to do so the ice will be ready and the rink will be open tonight, for anyone wis'1ing to go over and throw a few rocks. The Entertainment Committee reports that arrangements arc almost complete for the New Year's Eve Dance. Negotiations have been completed whereby Roy Saari and his Orchestra will be back with us on that date, 0-0-0 SCHOOL CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS CONCERT You are reminded once again, that the School Concert will take place in the Recreation Hall on Wednesday, December 21st, starting time is set for 8:00 p.m. Over 100 children from the school will be taking part in this year's concert which will feature a Cantata at Castle Christmas, The children have rehearsed faithfully on this production since the beginning of the month and deserve the support of all adults, who should attend this worthwhile effort. 0-0-0 CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS PLEASE NOTE In order to cope with the Christmas Rush, the Hudson!s Bay Store has arranged to increase their hours of business as follows: December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. = 7:00 pem. to 9300 Pem. Please note that the store will be closed on December 26th and 27th. Starting at 1:45 p.m,, the bus will make special trips through the Townsite Loop at e0 minute intervals to enable all of the wee tots to get over to sec Santa. In order to ° save space on the bus for the mothers with small children, it is requested that all chil+ dren of school age should walk over to the Recreation Hall. Inasmuch as the Hall would not hold all parents and children, a similar request is made to the parents that only mothers with small children be in attendance, A full program including short movie cartoons, carol singing, candy and revels is planned, so that the children who attend won't forget this perty for a long, long time, To top off all of these things, when Santa arrives, he will. pring o gift for cvery boy «and girl.
