The importance of public co-operation cannot be over emphasized since tracing taxpayers whe are entitled to refundable savings cheques throws a heavy burden upon the Department of National Revenue. When the 1942 refundable savings cheques were distributed, more than 450,000 persons had to be traced in order to insure delivery of the cheques end since the current campaign represents over twice as many taxpayers as last year, the problem involved should be readily appreciated.
