The importance of public co-operation cannot be over emphasized since tracing taxpayers whe are entitled to refundable savings cheques throws a heavy burden upon the Department of National Revenue. When the 1942 refundable savings cheques were distributed, more than 450,000 persons had to be traced in order to insure delivery of the cheques end since the current campaign represents over twice as many taxpayers as last year, the problem involved should be readily appreciated. If you have changed your name or address since 1945 and are entitled to a refundable savings cheque for either cr both of the 1943 - 1944 tax periods, make it a point to fay out the special "Chenre of Address" card available at all Post Offices. These cards should be mailed before October 31, 1948 to the Taxation Division, Department of National Revenue, Ottawa, OraQ~o BADMINTON NOTES About 25 badminton players tumed out last night for the second evening of play in the current season. : Next Wednesday evening, the 2nd Annual Meeting of the Terrace Bay Badminton Club Will be held and officers for the 148 - '49 season will be elected.
