Page §. ILLENE OSTLING WED TO JAMES STARK AT TERRACE BAY The home of Mr, and Mrs. A. R. Ostling, 136 Poplar Crescent, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday evening June 5th, when Illene, youngest daughter of lr. and Mrs. A. R. Ostling became the bride of Mr. James Stark son of lir, Fred Stark of. Port-J.rthur. Rev. Arthur Lavender officiated. Mr. Ostling gave his daughter in marriage. Attend- ing the bride was Miss Pat Selkirk. The groom was attended by Mr. Bill Burke of Port Arthur, Mrs. George Miron, aunt of the bride was pianist during the ceremony and Mrs. Darleen Bryce, sister of the bride, sang "I'll Walk Beside You" during the signing of the register. Mrs. A. R. Ostling mother of the bride received the guests along with Mrs, Bert Steadwell, sister of the groom. irs. L. Martin and Mrs. R. G. Purcell poured during the reception. Mrs. H, Marsh was dining room hostess. Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Marshall, Mr, and Mrs. Vic Hinton, of Port Arthur; Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Purcell, Mrs. Bert Steadwell, lir. and Mrs. A. Coppin, Mr. and Mrs. 0. Bryant, Mrs. George Miron, Miss Violet Lindberg, Miss Ruth Knicely and iir. R. W. Ostling all of Fort William; Mr. S. L. Purcell, Gem, Alberta; Mrs. Elsie McDiarmid, Regina; and Mr. Clarence Wright, Schreiber. The couple left by car on a honeymoon which will be spent in Chicago.
