Membership in the Association including button is $1,00, Weighing-in for the Anglers' Contest is the Lower Camp Barber Shop, with the official judge -- Maurice Kulcheski. 000 NELSON-DELONG WEDDING SOLEMNIZED A very pretty wedding was solemnized on Saturday, April 24th, at 4 o'clock in Schreiber United Church, when Janet Beverly, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George DeLong, Terrace Bay (formerly of Neenah, Wisconsin) became the bride of Charles D. Nelson, son of Mr, and Mrs. Charles Nelson Sr., Schreiber, Ontario, The ceremony was performed by Rev. Arthur Lavender. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a two-piece wool suit of dove grey with brown accessories, her flowers being a corsage of pink rosebuds and sweet peas. Her only attendant, Miss Mavis Nelson, sister of the groom, was attired in a powder blue suit with dark accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink roses, Mr. W. Richardson of Schreiber acted as best man, Following the ceremony, dinner was served at the Mayfair Hotel, Schreiber, where the bride cut the four-tiered wedding cake, The bride's mother wore a grey suit with fuschiz accessories while Mrs, Charles Nelson Sr. was gowned in black with matching hat and gloves. After a honeymoon trip to the Border States, the young couple will teke up temporary _ residence at Walker's Lake. oo000 ANNUAL CURLING CLUB MEETING MAY 6TH Time did not permit the holding of the Annual Meeting and election of officers at the First Annual Curling Club banquet which was held on April 15. As a result the Annual meeting has been called for Thursday, May 6th, at 8,00 p.m, in the Recreation Hall. This is a very important meeting as the financial report of the past season's activities will be presented, officers will be elected for next season and plans will be laid for improving the curling building including the club room, All club members are strongly urged to make a special effort to be present at the meeting. o00 WE EXTEND SYMPATHY Our deepest sympathy is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rapke, of Terrace Bay and Mrs. Rapke's father, 'Rev.
