Page e, LADIES! AUXILTARY There was a large attendance at the regular monthly meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Community Church, which met on Monday, April 5th in the Recreation Centre. The president, Mrs. Rune Ostling was in the chair, The meeting openéd with the hymn, "Jesus Saviour, Pilot Me" followed by the Auxiliary prayer read in unison. Mrs, L. Martin gave a report on the progress of the arrangements for the Hudson's Bay Store Fashion Show, sponsored by the Auxiliary, to be held April 22nd in the Recreation Hall. Mrs. Dodge and Mrs, James Duncan offered to assist Mrs. R. Harris with the ticket sales. A large number of ladies volunteered to help serve the refreshments. Mrs. A. Christensen reported that the Novelty Committee which made baskets for the Easter tea, had expressed a wish to continue their work making favours and novelties for children's parties. After the business was completed the meeting was turned over to the program committee: Mrs, Harold Marsh, Mrs. Gordon Stewart and Mrs. A.
