This sum represents 185.7% of the $1000.00 objective set for the poets by district headquarters at Port Arthur. The Chairman of the local campaign, F. 0. Soughton, and Secretary- Treasurer, George Coulter, would like to take this opportunity of publicly thanking everyone who contributed to the success of the campaign, including all division chairmen, canvassers and subscribers. INSTITUTE As announced in last weeks issue of Terrace Bay News, an organization meeting of the Womens! Institute will be held on Friday April 9th at 3:00 p.m, in the Rec- reation Centre. With speakers and lecturers available from the Womens! Institute Branch of the Department of Agriculture it is possible to develop a broad program including lectures and demonstra- tions on clothing, food and nutrition, home crafts, housing and health education and other subjects. All Terrace Bay ladies are cordially invited to attend the April 9th meeting when the objectives and achievements of the Institute will be covered by representatives of the organization from outside points.
