It was the fourth game of a best-in-five series which had been keenly contested throughout. The first game had gone to Schreiber by a 3 - 2 count with Terrace Bay tying the series with a 4 - 1 victory in the second game. Last Monday, Schreiber scored their second victory as they emerged on the long end of a 4 - 1 score, and last night's 3 - 1 victory, gave the highly experienced Schreiber Club the North Shore League Trophy. Throughout the first period there was no scoring until the last minute of play when Schreiber scored twice with Fisher (assisted by Riley) and Campbell getting credit for the tallies. ; Midway through the second period Paradis scored for Schreiber to make the score 3 - %, In the fin:1 period Terrace Bay seemed to have the edge on the play but when the chips were down a single goal by Elmer Dion was the only Terrace Bay counter, Officials handling the game did a grand job - Les Sims of Hydro and "Red" McKenzie, who made a special trip from the Lakehz2d following a request for a neutral referee made to the Thunder Bay Amateur Hockey Secretary, R. C. Chambers, We understand now that the Schreiber team intends to seek further hockey honours and Terrace Bay hockey fans and players extend best wishes for success, It's been a good hockey season and we'll certainly be looking forward to next inna when the friendly rivalry will no doubt be renewed in the North Shore League.
