Vo tS DhGh aig TERRACE BAY TO HAVE ADDITIONAL BUS SERVICE Bus service was first inaugurated at Terrace Bay June 24th of last year when inter national Transit Company put into effect a schedule which included three round trips to Fort William and Port Arthur each week, with a special bus leaving every Saturday after- noon for the Lakehead cities. Since that time, daily service has been established over the same route. In the near future, bus service for our community will be further expanded by Inter- national Transit with the basing of a modern bus at Terrace Bay for use in the immediate area. Return trips to Schreiber and Walker's Lake are planned for both morning and afternoon on week-days, and will, among other things, take care of the transporting of High School children to anda from Schreiber, thereby eliminating the present station wagon service oper- ated by the Company. Special commuters! service for those working at the Terrace Bay project and living at Walkers Lake, Schreiber, or intermediate points will also be maintained, prior to and following regular work hours on week-days. Commuters! rates will be established for those using this bus service regularly. The bus has been engaged by the LongLac organization to transport personnel between the Lower Camp Dispatcher's Office and the Upper Camp, before and after work and during lunch hours. tn the morning and at noon the schedule will be: Up - 7:20 am. and 7:50 a.m.; Down - 12:05 p.m.; Up - 12:50 p.m. Passes will be issued to all those whe are en- titled to use this service. It should be noted that no shuttle service will be operated by the Company during the hours that the inter-camp bus service is maintained. It is expected that a complete bus schedule with fares listed for the Schreiber - Walker's Lake run will be published in the next issue of this paper. In the interim, the new service will, in all probability, have been inaugurated - another addition to the fast- growing number of services for this new community of Terrace Bay. 0-0-0 HOCKEY NOTES North Shore League Since the regular schedule got under way last Saturday night in Schreiber, three games have been played, and in two of these the locals have gone down to defeat at the hands of their more experienced Schreiber rivals by scores of 7-4 and 4-1.
