"Me too", by all, ' ; 7:00: "Oh, I should do my ironing first - - then I*11. set my hair and go straight to bed". 8:00: "Well, that's done! Say, I'm thirst, how about putting the coffee on". 9:00: "This sure is good coffee. Thanks, Anne". 10:00: "Say, how were things at the office today? That reminds me - - I was so busy I sure could do with a nice long rest, but first I'll have to have another cup of this de- licious coffee". 11:00: "Oh, goodness, look at the time! And, I still have to set my hair and get washed. What's that? Someone in the washroom? Oh, well, I didn't want to go to bed yet any- way." a 12:00: "Well, goodnight girls. Gee, tomorrow night I'm coming straight home and going right to bed." -o00- There has been a decided moral uplift in the above residence as a few of our en- thusiastic members have gone in for a quiet evening of bridge playing. ~o0o- We were all highly honoured one evening when we were greeted by the Camp Photo- grapher. Therefore, it is quite possible that you may be able to catch a glimpse of our cheery abode in the next edition of the Co-Op Magazine. -o0o~ Wednesday night found most of the girls at a supposedly "big do" in Schreiber and apparently they had a good time. -o00™ The weekend was also very active and exciting - - I believe too much so for mest of us. It seems that on Saturday all but three of our members were at a party and arrived home quite gay; in fact, one bright lassie was frantically looking for a pair of shoes which she was carrying in her hands all the time, -o00- Grace spent the weekend in Fort William shopping and, believe me, she really shopped. Yours truly was in Schreiber on a fruitless shopping spree last Saturday - - boy, was I glad to get back to Terrace Bay: -o0o0- On Sunday, the girls wouldn't admit they were beat but had to go out hiking all day and by supper time the only way they could keep awake was by holding their eyes open just enough to see that they were eating amd drinking coffee - - their favourite pastime. -o00- During the past week House 16 has had several sewing bees and we are all proud of the hand-sewn drapes which now adorn our sitting room, ~o0o- AT THE MOVIES Tonight, May 13th: "THREE IS A FAMILY". This family farce brings together such old favour- ites as Marjorie Reynolds, Charlie Ruggles, Fay Bainter and many more. Friday & Saturday, May 16th and 17th: "PATRICK THE GREAT". Starring Donald O'Connor and Peggy Ryan. This incomparable comedy dance team provide the colour to a musical adventure. It's tops in entertainment, Monday & Tuesday, May 19th and 20th: "SEVENTH VEIL", The "Seventh Veil" is one of the best pictures that has been produced by the British film industry. It stars James Mason and Ann Todd and dares to strip bare -- a woman's mind. It's classed as super special entertainment. NOTE: On Friday of this week, the starting hour of the movie at Terrace Bay will be changed from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
