Roddy LeBlanc ; born 1907 ; came to area in 1912, moving to Rosslyn ; married Ruby Pratt ; was member of 4-H Club ; managed and coached rural baseball ; retired as district commissioner of Fort William District scouts ; chairman in 1952-53 ; received Badge of Merit from Gov. Gen. Vanier ; appointed honorary vice-president of district council in 1963 ; received medallion from City for part in Scout Olympic 1970 ; managed All Star team for Little League ; won Canadian championship ; won Canadian championships in 1966,67,68 ; resigned in 1969 due to ill health ; has been with Monarch Life for over 36 years ; photo
