Wright pastors, logged more than 5000 phone calls with only 47 of the calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving International Requests for copies of this prayer from countries as far away as India and Africa. May this prayer sweep across our Nation. God has a distinct plan for every nation. Our forefathers believed the Word of God. Canada’s UNRIGHTEOUSNESS needs healing and our RIGHTEOUS HISTORY needs to be reclaimed. God-fearing men forced their way into Confederation. The Fathers of Confederation clearly gave Jesus Christ access to the affairs of the nation when they chose to declare that “HE WILL HAVE DOMINION ALSO FROM SEA TO SEA.” PS. 72:8 From birth, the Lord was given an invitation to be present within the Nation of Canada. Christians do have a right to influence the affairs of Canada. Faytene C. Kryskow puts it this way. “Not only do we have legal access through the spiritual inheritance laid up by our forefathers, but we have a clear Kingdom mandate from the Lord.” Replace our rights with His righteousness. Chaplain Lenora Rowsell Red Rock’s Community Economic Development Office is Open for Business_______ The Community (Economic) Development Office is now open for business in Red Rock. Leah Tees is resuming her role in the community Adjustment process. Leah will assist with Phase Two of the Adjustment process which will wrap up in the near future. I’m Leslee Fredericks, a new resident of Red Rock, coming from Annapolis county, Nova Scotia. I have about nine years experience in the Economic Development field, and about the same in the private business sector. Being well aware of the challenges here, I was keen to come and lend my experience in light of the current economic downturn, a situation very similar to what I encountered in Nova Scotia in the mid-nineties when a local military base closed and the East Coast Fishery collapsed. Looking ahead at the community before leaving Nova Scotia, it wasn’t hard to see that the right balance of knowledge, creativity, and strength exists here for new opportunities to emerge... opportunities that will build a more sustainable future. In fact, the challenges facing North Shore Communities right now could provide the catalyst for development that will address impending issues like climate change, high fuel costs, and the need for more localized economies. This area is rugged, and pristine, and beautiful with a landscape I have yet to encounter elsewhere in Canada. People here have attained high levels of education and are really good natured. The transportation and technical infrastructure in the area is better then in most rural areas. Towns along the North Shore have unique qualities, and together have the potential to compliment each other in terms of service delivery and product development. The trick will be careful planning for long term sustainable growth. This means finding new and innovative ways to cultivate business, encourage diversity in skills, and involve citizens in forging new directions for their communities with the overall goal of ensuring all residents attain full and satisfying lives. I am looking forward to working with the Community Adjustment Committee/Economic Development Committee, who will represent the community by bringing the ideas and vision to the planning and implementation of Red Rock’s community developments. I am also relishing the advice and experiences of other community leaders and local agencies who understand that we have to maximize the benefits of a cooperative approach to regional Continued on Page 3
