THEATRE REVIEW The story of circus life and a wondrous story of a small boy and his love for a giant dogâ€"a double bill suited for the family....is the order for the weekend at the Plaza. "The Flying Fontaines" gives a fresh look at the people who live under the Big Top. The excitement and wonder of circus time are captured by stars . Michael Callan, Evy Norlund, Joan Evans and Rian Garrick who play circus aerialists who become involved in a maze of romantic complications, feuds and problems which set off a chain reaction of bitterness and near tragedy! "Big Jeeter’’ hasn’t had the big play that some of the other films have but it is the sort of picture that appeals to everybody____real family entertainment. It is a heartwarming story of a tiny boy played by Sylvan Orlando and a giant dog, Big Jeeter. For those who like more lively action, "Platinum High School" fills the bill Thursday and Friday night. The dangerous practice of 'hazing’ in American schools focused on the public eye by deaths in college fraternities forms the pivotal point in "Platinum High Schoolman 'exclusive' school situated on a remote island for delinquent sons of the rich. The picture stars Mickey Rooney as a man who tries to solve the brutal murder of his son. Terry Moore, Dan Duryea and introducing popular singer Conway Twitty are also starred. A suspense thriller, "The Trap" playing Tuesday and Wednesday tells of how the top crime chief of the country uses murder, violence and fear as his weapons in his efforts to flee to Mexico from a small town in Southern California. Richard Widmark plays the attorney for the crime syndicate headed by Lee J. Cobb. Earl Holliman is a standout as Widmark’s deputy brother who is a law enforcement officer of the town, complicating things still further is the girl he loves, Tina Louise, his brother’s wife. With this talented foursome it makes a red letter picture on your movie calendar. SCHREIBER SCRIBBLES by Norah McGuire Mr. T.
