12 NORSHORE SENTINEL Thursday, January 19, 1961 New Executive For Moose Lodge Saturday, Jan. 14 saw the initiation of over 50 new members into the Loyal Order of Moose at Beardmore. Prior to this date, members in Beardmore belonged to the Port Arthur Lodge #947. The Beardmore lodge, as of Jan. 14, will be known as #1366. The new executive was installed by F. Tidemark of Port Arthur. Those installed were Lome McLechnie, Governor; John Kenna, past junior governor; J. O’Brien, junior governor; R. Savo, prelate; A. Lappalainen, secretary; N. Kozak, treasurer; Mm. Hamden, O. Matte, J. Poirier, trustees; S. Anderson, sergeant-at-arms; R. Seguin, inner guard; A. Fredrick, outer guard; M. Caddell, chairman of ways and means; H. 'Tallin, entertainment chairman. Members from the Port Arthur Lodge #947 present were John Lidemark, grand Brown, Mrs. H. MacDonald and Mrs. Peterson. Mr. J. Foote initiated over 50 new members into the lodge and wished the lodge every success. John Lidemark in his remarks, commended Beardmore Lodge for its auspicious beginning, pointing out that it was starting with a larger charter-membership than Port Arthur which had started with a little over 30 members. Beardmore started with over 50. Dancing to Buzz Lein’s orchestra followed the meet -ing. Lunch was convened by Mrs. C. Lundgren. junior governor of the province of Ontario, F. Lidemark H. MacDonald, J. Brown, B. Sharpe, H. Refdord, E. Hietennen and J. Foore. Ladies of the Moose present from Port Arthur #1212 were Mrs. H. Redford, Mrs.J.
